Investigator Resources Limited (ASX code: IVR) is a metals explorer focussing on silver, copper and gold discovery in the southern Gawler Craton of South Australia.

The company is named after Matthew Flinder's ship, The Investigator, a former coal sloop that outsailed the French in mapping the coasts of the Eyre and Yorke Peninsulas to claim South Australia for the British.

Similarly, Investigator Resources belies its small size by applying innovative concepts and exploration techniques to secure quality ground and to compete for the next major metal discovery in Australia.

Our objectives are to:

  • Discover and develop large competitive metal deposits using our strengths in the southern Gawler Craton

    • Create value for our shareholders

    Our key projects are the:

    • Paris silver discovery and other silver targets in the large newly-recognised Peterlumbo epithermal field in northern Eyre Peninsula

    • Bute and Ridgeback copper gold targets along the northern extensions of the regional Hillside trend on Yorke Peninsula
